Fruitality is a fun healthy brand that implies wellness, vitality and healthy eating! It is the perfect brand to collaborate with real sporting heroes who have the same vision and goals as us.

FRUITALITY & SHARLENE MAWDSLEY

We are delighted to collaborate with Irish Olympian runner, Sharlene Mawdsley on an exclusive juice which we have jointly created.

The juice, Ready, Set. Glow! is zesty, full of flavour, energy boosting, and packs a punch.

We will be giving 10% of profits from each juice sold and donating it to Her Sport. Her Sport proactively empowers women in sport and encourages younger girls to continue in sport. Sharlene is an inspiration to many girls in sport and is the perfect person to advocate for this.

In addition to our Ready Set Glow! Juice, Sharlene has also created an acai bowl which is made to order at our Fruitality counter.

Where to Find Ready, Set, Glow!
Available from 1st July at:
  • Fruitality Dublin Airport

  • Phoenix Park Café

  • Kilkenny Café, Nassau Street

  • Marqette, Dublin Airport

  • People’s Park, Dún Laoghaire

“I am delighted to collaborate with Fruitality on our energy boosting juice, ‘’Ready set glow!’’. Not only is it fresh and healthy, 10% of profits from every bottle sold will be donated to Her Sport. Her Sport proactively empowers women in sport. At the moment, twice as many girls drop out of sport than boys by the age of 14. I am passionate about changing this and want to encourage young girls to stay in sport. It’s so important for physical and mental health.

I hope that proceeds from my juice collaboration can make a real change, and it helps raise awareness for this cause. In addition, I have created an acai bowl which aims to give an energy boost and zing using fresh ingredients and nut butter.

The juice and acai bowl are created with ingredients which aim to refuel customers. As a frequent flyer it’s so important to nurture, look after yourself, and stay on top of your health! As they saying goes in Fruitality… a little bit of goodness grows a long way!”

HER SPORT

The Her Sport Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation founded to enhance the lives of girls and women through the power of sport. They are committed to breaking down barriers that prevent girls and women from participating in sport at all levels; as an athlete, a coach, a sports fan and more. Sport has the power to transform lives, promote positive mental and physical health and develop essential life skills.

94% of women in executive managerial positions have a background in sport. Yet 1 in 2 girls will drop out of sport by the age of 18 and just 11% of teenage girls are meeting recommended physical activity levels. 87% of Irish girls report low self-esteem, among the lowest globally while girls who play sport are 60% more likely to have high levels of body confidence.

The Her Sport Foundation is breaking down barriers to sport through its four pillars:

Advocacy

Creating powerful advocacy campaigns and contributing to the visibility of women’s sport, to challenge societal norms and gender biases in sport. If she CAN see it, she CAN be it.

Research

Conducting essential research to understand the current state of women’s sport and inform our advocacy for change in policy and culture. Understanding today shapes the future we create tomorrow.

Funding

Providing financial grant support to athletes and teams to fund equipment, travel, kit and other essential needs.

“It’s exciting to see the new collaboration between Fruitality and Sharlene Mawdsley – a partnership bursting with energy! We’re certain it will elevate the visibility of Sharlene and the great role model that she is and hope it encourages more girls and women to try something new this summer! We’re delighted that Fruitality are further demonstrating their commitment to women in sport, with their new juice contributing to the Her Sport Foundation”
